Most likely it was 2 people. Besides destroying club property and the hard work of the member that built, installed, and maintains them, they destroyed a dozen ducks. That's right, there was 12 eggs in that box and were left either because these people killed the hen or scared her away. The eggs were broken when the box was cleaned out and you could see that the ducks were formed and WOULD have soon hatched. Since there were eggs this had to have happened in the spring, not even close to the duck season. Even if only 50% of the ducklings survived the wild we WOULD have had 6 birds returning to our pond this spring.

Someone must have seen or heard something when this happened. If anyone has more information on this please let one of the officers know or reply to this message.

Thanks

Comment on Welcome to the North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Club's Blog!

That's a good question. Since the polls open at 6am most people vote throughout the day, so the meeting is still scheduled for 7:00pm. You can always check the newsletter or website to get any updates. Thanks.

Comment on Welcome to the North Troy Stag Rod & Gun Club's Blog!

Why is there a meeting scheduled on Election day?
